"Campbell is funny and a busy bee and creative and other stuff. She's cool.”

That's a quote from my best friend. Thanks, Mia. While I'm flattered by her sentiment, I am actually quite the opposite of cool.

Funny:

I'd like to think I'm funny. Mostly because I love to laugh. My friends tease me for giving just about everything a five-star review, but I’ve learned that life is more fun when you let yourself enjoy it.

Busy Bee:

I am a notorious "busy bee." Not because I hate being still, but because I'm endlessly curious. There's always something new to learn. One week, it's art history (Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci? That's my Heated Rivalry). The next is psychology, comics, classic literature, Greek mythology, various feminist prose, lqbtq+ cinema, or some obscure piece of history. My browser tabs are a disaster, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Creative:

Acting is home, but creativity spills into every corner of my life. I'm usually writing, editing, thinking up a new project, taking photos, or convincing my friends we should make something together just because it sounds fun.

Other stuff:

People often assume I'm simply bubbly and energetic. Both are true, but I'm a huge introvert. I love reflecting and trying to understand the world a little better than I did yesterday. Empathy, curiosity, and open-mindedness are the values I try hardest to live by.

Cool:

As for the "cool" thing... absolutely not.

I'm a spectacularly tragic dork. I could happily spend hours talking about Superman, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (not JKR), Spider-Man, musical theatre, classic literature, Gilmore Girls, Greta Gerwig films, Sherlock Holmes, or the great comedic masterpiece…The Lego Movie.

So no. Not cool.

Just endlessly curious, a little overenthusiastic, and incredibly grateful that I get to spend my life telling stories.

I've always been fascinated by people.

I love observing, asking questions, and trying to understand what makes someone who they are. Why do they believe what they believe? Who are they when no one's watching? What tiny moment changed the course of their life? The more I learn about people, the more I fall in love with them - and acting is my favorite way to explore those questions.

That's why I'm drawn to stories that feel grounded, intelligent, and unmistakably human. I love characters who are layered, observant, and full of contradictions - people whose inner lives are just as compelling as their dialogue. The stories that stay with me trust their audience. They leave room for stillness, for thought, and for the audience to lean in.

As an actor, I hope to bring honesty, presence, specificity, and quiet curiosity into every role. I love the detective work that happens long before the cameras roll or the lights come up: asking questions, unpacking relationships, and understanding the thoughts between the lines. Then, once the work is done, I love letting it go. My favorite part of acting is being fully present - listening deeply, letting my scene partner affect me, and trusting that something unexpected might happen. I believe the most truthful moments are often the ones you could never have planned.

Ultimately, the stories that stay with us are the ones that make us feel a little less alone. They invite us to lean in, laugh unexpectedly, ask better questions, and leave with a little more compassion than we arrived with. That's the kind of work I hope to spend my life making.
